Design inspiration with Aluminium Steel-Look Doors
Giving similar design hues to the authentic steel product, aluminium steel-look doors are truly transformational. You get all the desirability of these Heritage, Art-Deco, Scandi or Industrial styling.
We’re replacing more and more dated patio doors with this distinctive style. Then our customers want us back to replace the windows elsewhere in the home with similar steel-look glazing products.
Our doors come with all the design features you expect. Slim and consistent sightlines. Slim or more traditionally-styled glazing bars for that grid-like appearance. Then is the choice of products. As well as residential doors, bifolding doors are also popular.
And for inside the home we use the same elegant profiles as interior doors and screens. For internal doors in particular, our version even comes with no threshold at the bottom of the doors. As a result, your flooring runs smoothly and consistently and you go from one room to another.
Here’s how we’ve transformed homes all over Kent, Surrey and Sussex with our professionally installed heritage doors. And our reviews are testament to our products and service.

White heritage French doors as a new porch
We know black is the signature colour for these doors, but there’s no reason you can’t choose white! Shown here is a gorgeous set of white doors with the familiar styling of classic doors with small flag windows and matching side panel.
Above the doors is a matching top panel and notice how all the sightlines run neatly through the entire door set. A fabulous addition to the front of this property, not to mention a new useable, secure and weather-protected space.
Aluminium steel-look doors in Bromley, Kent
Gorgeous slimline Art-Deco styling installed in a detached home in Bromley, Kent features a new extension at the back. The great thing about this particular installation is a combination of three different steel-look products.
At the centre is the showpiece French doors with side lights and top panels. Notice the thicker lock backplate on the left hand leaf – another design feature similar to the original steel door product. To the left is a contemporary aluminium window. At the right hand side, a matching steel look fixed screen. Again notice the consistent sightlines matching the patio doors beside.
This installation comes in the ever-popular matt black finish, matching hardware such as door handles and hinges. For the glass, toughened safety glass, having a soft-coat low-emissivity coating, warm edge spacer bars and argon gas fill. Combined with the thermally insulated profiles, these new doors and windows are also super energy efficient.
Steel-look French Doors with Sidelights
This design remains our most popular and as you browse home improvement magazines and interior design, you can see why. The classic double door with equal sidelights design. Neat lines, the familiar lock plate, all in the classic black finish.
You can also use this style inside the home as a partition or room divider such as between the lounge and the dining room in many home. Timeless, classic and sought-after. Get in touch with us for a quote on one of our best selling designs.
Heritage French Doors in Kent
Thousands of terraced homes throughout Surrey, Kent and Sussex have smaller doorways, usually with French Doors.
There’s nothing better than replacing dated French doors with a substantially slimmer alternative. These double doors in Kent with glazed top lights above not only look modern yet timeless. At the same time, their signature slimline profiles bring more light into the room. Even better with this installation is how the steel-look aluminium doors work so well with the wood flooring and the interior decor. Beautiful.
Heritage aluminium front porch
Everything about this Art-Deco porch in Kent just blends in with the property. From the colour of the brickwork and roof above, even down to the black skirting around the brickwork and even the black letterbox on the side.
Here, we’ve used the same steel-look door product and created a new front porch. To the side is a flag window. Notice how the bars all run through neatly with the same sightline. To the bottom of both the window and the door is a matching black cill. To the right of the door a slim side window and matching glazed lights above.
A more traditional Kent home, transformed into something quite special and unique.
Aluminium heritage doors and windows
Another installation in Bromley with Art-Deco glazing throughout. Here we’ve installed double doors to the first floor, patio doors with sidelights on the ground floor and a selection of aluminium windows elsewhere in the home.
Once again, this Scandi, Hygge or industrial styling gives a completely new look to this character property and the result is transformational. The windows are especially different as the grid-like effect is much narrower, like old cottage steel windows.
Large heritage screen in Hove, West Sussex
Fitted by us in a garden room to a property in Hove, is a different take on the popular French doors with sidelights design. Here the screen features an extra module on each side with the double doors centrally located.
To the side of this is a slimline casement window with top-hung open out vents. Fitting steel-look doors to Garden Rooms is getting quite popular as part of our work. Our customers want the same styling to their work and leisure spaces as more of us work from home.
Again shown in the popular black finish with slimline glazing bars, black handles and toughened safety glass throughout.
Steel-look glazing for garage conversions
Something a little different in a garage conversion using steel-look patio doors. An even wider French doors and screen combination, with double sidelights either side of the doors.
The difference here also, is the vertical glazing bars as well as the horizontal, giving even more panels. As well as this, the effect is also different to our usual installation with horizontal bars only.
This garage conversion promises a brand new room as a home office, gym or just extra useable space.
