Another installation by Newlite of the latest in orangery design, Liv’in Room in white PVCu. The project involved the removal of an old Anglian conservatory which was now dated and needed updating. The windows and French doors are from the advanced Liniar suite of windows and doors.
For the new conservatory, new footings were created and concrete applied. Newlite also constructed the blockwork and brickwork for the conservatory walls. It was a client requirement that the brickwork was ‘toothed’ into the house. Toothing is where the cutting or leaving out of units in a wall provides a bond for the new wall to join. The new conservatory is more functional, thermally efficient and is finished off with an Ogee style corniche.
