A substantial family home in Sussex, with a complete window installation, carried out by Newlite.
The original windows were old Crittall® windows, single glazed and without any frame insulation. While these old metal windows suit houses like this brilliantly, they are very inefficient.
Our solution was to replace the old windows with the latest Aluk slimline steel replacement system. The windows have polyamide thermal breaks, quality powder coated frames and high specification glass units.
To keep with the original features of this fine house, we retained some of the hardwood subframes and replaced others.
At the front of the house is a latest Solidor composite door in a traditional style, with period hardware.
