A transformation of a large detached property by Newlite, in partnership with a local specialist property developer, our advanced aluminium windows in East Sussex, create an entirely new look to a substantial family home.
Grey slimline aluminium steel look windows
Supplied and installed by us for property developer Calverley Homes, our steel look windows are fitted into new hardwood subframes at Oakland House a substantial dwelling in Heathfield, East Sussex Set in a seven acre plot.
Our steel look windows are the perfect replacement for 1930s properties, which would have originally been built with old metal windows. Our work involved working with Calverley Homes in their overall property refurbishment, which also included adding a two-storey extension and converting an old office outbuilding into an annexe.
The original windows comprised a combination of dated PVCu and some original metal windows.
New aluminium windows, residential doors and patio doors
Throughout the property, we’ve fitted our latest generation aluminium steel look windows, residential patio, and bifold doors.
Powder coated in anthracite grey matt finish, the windows and doors all come with high quality architectural-quality aluminium, insulated with a thermal break. All windows and doors come with 28mm insulated glass units, toughened in all doors, made with a soft-coat low-emissivity coating, warm edge spacer bars and argon gas fill. As a result, these windows are not only ultra-stylish but also very energy efficient.
As standard, the steel look windows come with multipoint espagnolette locking, robust yet stylish silver locking window handles and are glazed from inside the property for additional security. Frames feature a neat steppe design, replicating classic metal windows whilst providing all the performance and long service life of 21st Century aluminium.
The residential doors also feature similar advanced features, with high security locks and cylinders, lever handles, flush bolts to the slave leaves and set on standard aluminium cills.
The project comprises a variety of window styles, including single casement windows, bay windows and other designs, working with the property’s architecture and modern interior decor.
